Hey I recently have spent hundreds of dollars on different types of gloves and can't find any tough enough that aren't to think. I heard all kobalt things are lifetime warranty, does this include gloves? If you think kobalt gloves will hold up to the test, I'll gladly review some. would y'all mind sending me a few pair to try out? I trim trees, cut grass, demolition, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, roofing, and pretty much anything to make money and stay busy.Posted on Sep 09, 2016

The website is not especially helpful, nor the local store in this case. I have a 5-yr-old, or so, 10" compound miter saw, Mod. 251946. I had noticed some problems in the past with close cuts, but now discovered that the back fence has a slight bow in it. It appears to be a cast aluminum fence, and appears to have simply come out of the mold a little wrong. At any rate, I can't find the part, or how to order the part, or even find an owner's manual or parts breakdown. Can you help or advise where to go.Posted on Sep 03, 2016

Went to Lowe's looking for a spool cover for the kobalt weedeater i got at Lowes and was told they don't carry it in stock and I needed to look on the internet to order. I've not been able to find it and I called the store and asked for inside lawn and garden and was placed on hold for 10 min. Then the operator comes on and says hold on, ill get someone and proceeds to send me to otside lawn and garden where the rep had no idea what I was looking for. He then said he was going to transfer me and then the call was dropped. This happens all to often in this store. No staff, if 1 in every department, its a miracle. 2 cashiers open most of the time with long lines and other employees don't bother to come help. Less profits and more employees is needed.Posted on Aug 24, 2016

Last year I purchased a set of two Kobalt locking pliers, a small and a large. Unfortunately, I did not save my receipt or package since I've never had an issue with this type of pliers before. Neither of the pliers will "lock". Even the slightest touch will pop them open, making them totally useless to grip anything. I've adjusted them every way to Sunday, but they are still not clamping onto anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Posted on Jul 16, 2016

My local Lowe's store replaced a 25-foot Kobalt tape for me today (6-23-16) that was misbehaving and not recoiling properly. They said my original tape was no longer made and offered a better model as a replacement. The model KBSL21825 is indeed a handsome handyman special! My only complaint is the blister pack that it's encased in. I inadvertently scratched the belt clip with a razor knife and needle nose pliers, trying to in vain to free the blister pack plastic lodged in between the belt clip and the tape body. No directions are listed for safely removing the blister pack from the tape case and tho the tape case will to be scratched in time, I wanted it to be from normal wear, and not excessive tear. Thanks - GaryPosted on Jun 24, 2016

I Will never buy another tool with Lowe's "kolalt". If i buy a set the whole set needs to be together. We all know mechanics lose tools on a daily basis!! Great to have this experience now, before sets get purchased by other mechanics at the shop. Not very good customers service at Lowe's asking about tool information!! Home depot recommendations!Posted on Jun 23, 2016

I called 800 number yesterday. They took information and stated that a representative from Lowes would call me back. Instead it was someone from an outsourced location. Told me I need to go to my computer to complete form. I did this. My computer was slow but I eventually was able to understand (language barrier) and get to Easter penn website. The needed information was not on the site so he asked if he could take over computer. I agreed. He did a diagnostic and told me what was wrong with my computer and tried to get me to purchase software to fix problem. I was not having a problem before I called. I keep telling him I'm calling about a battery for edger and he kept telling me he'd transfer me to is supervisor or further information. Talked to supervisor he told me to repair computer it would cost $99. I was not having a problem. I also told him that I allowed someone to take over my computer previously and it became infected. my computer is relatively new, I have a good virus protection plan and if in further I have a problem they created it.Posted on Jun 17, 2016

Ken Lewis:

1 year ago I was looking for an electric weed eater after having some bad experiences with gas weed eaters, I decided on Kobalt since I consider it a really good quality brand. I bought the battery and the battery charger and it worked well all last summer. I kept the battery inside protected from the weather and this long weekend I tried to charge it and the charger blinked green and the went red.thinking the battery had something wrong with it I tried to replace it at Lowes after looking at the warranty that says no questions asked. After a lengthy conversation with a manager trying to get them to honor the warranty I was offered a gift card to purchase another battery which I did. I came home and started the charging process again to find that it blinked green for while then went red.Now I'm thinking its the charger so I went back down to Loews to get a new charger to find that they don't have any in stock. Was told to go on line and order it. The weekend planned to weed eat is gone down the drain. It'd make sense that if they sell the weed eater in the store, they'd have batteries.Posted on May 30, 2016

I own a auto repair shop and when I opened I bought kobolt tools and the first set is the 200 PC in a blue and black carrying case all three ratchets are messed up. Still liking kobolt. I bought a new 250 piece set had it for about 3 months. I just opened it today to use and the 3/8 ratchet doesn't work at all and a few sockets aren't labeled what size it is. I live 60 to 70 miles from Lowes .. I would really like some attention to these problems thank you..Posted on May 20, 2016

Chris Pollard:

I switched from craftsman to Kobalt this year because of the no hassle guarantee on Kobalt hand tools. The first time I used an adapter from a socket set the tool failed, the steel was way too soft and a piece sheared off. I was in the middle of changing my brake pads on my truck so I needed the tool replaced as soon as possible, I had to be at work in a couple of hours. I rushed to Lowe's in my wife's car to get a replacement and when I make it, almost thirty miles away, the woman at the service desk told me that I had to have the entire tool set with me in order to replace the one broken piece that I had. I told her my situation, that I needed the part for my work vehicle, she told me I could go to the tool department and ask if they could just replace the one piece I needed even though she did not think they could. After about fifteen minuets wasted I was unable to find anyone near the tool department to help me, so I had to buy a more tools to finish the job instead of getting my broken piece replaced. This was a learning experience for me, I learned that Lowe's would rather me.Posted on May 12, 2016

I would appreciate you "educating" the people at the Lowes store located at 7575 SW 90th Street, Ocala, FL 34476 at to what older Kobalt tools look like. I purchased $1000's of dollars of Kobalt tools back in the late '90's. At that time the handles on the hand tools were blue with a yellow band at the top. As on pliers, side cutters, etc. The Kobalt name was printed on the blue hand grips. Well, after over 15 years of use, the Kobalt label just wears out. Especially on my side cutters. When I tried to exchange my 15+ year old side cutters for a new pair (The old ones were a LOT better quality), the person at the returns did not believe they were Kobalt side cutters because she could not see the Kobalt name anywhere. After spending almost 30 minutes "discussing" (and I'm being nice) the fact that this tool was over 15 years old and the brand name was worn off, she called someone over from the tool dept who looked at the tool (he too was unfamiliar with the older Kobabt tools) and finally gave the approval to exchange it. Clearly not what I was expecting. when I needed to reply.Posted on Apr 29, 2016

We recently purchased a kobalt tile saw Model KWS S7-06. When we unpacked it from the box, the fresh water intake valve was broken. How can we get this piece replaced? So I get the item #437513 contractor cordless set of tools for a Christmas present in 2015. My impact drill and reciprocating saw lock up on me while at a job, not on the same day but on the job. I call my cousin to see if he still has the receipt which he doesn't. I call Kobalt and listen to the recording about warranties on Kobalt tools. It says "return to Lowes and exchange them for new ones even without a receipt". I go to 2 different Lowes and I'm told I have to have a receipt even after I play the recording to them. So even if it's a gift be sure to save receipt. Not to happy with Kobalt or Lowes. My business and workers aren't either.Posted on Apr 14, 2016

I purchased a pair of your work gloves for 19.99+tax at lowes. They're just now 7 months old and have holes worn in them.
