nancy MELLIN:

Last Sunday and Thursday before I received the newspaper. My address is 526 abbey way, Mendota heights, 55120. This will continue to happen and in about 3 weeks I’ll receive a bill. This scenario keeps happening and I am forced to call, hang on for 15+ minutes and explain that I do not want this paper. I haven't been a subscriber for years because of your horrible customer service. The pioneer press is the second worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Only Comcast is worse. Stop this scam of sending the not-wanted paper and billing. If a bill is sent it will be evidence for the bbb. Also, the team you hire to solicit for the paper keeps calling me. Why can't you get this straight? Why can't my name be permanently deleted? This has been going on for years. What is wrong with this company? I don't want the paper. I want nothing to do with this company. I consider this harassment and will treat it as such if I ever hear from you again. I have also warned new people in the neighborhood not to get involved with the pioneer press. Do not send the paper!Posted on Aug 30, 2016

I really don't like getting my subscription extended due to the fact that the paper wasn't delivered on 8/12/2010. I want a paper to read and this solution does not solve that problem. It's simple! I paid for this paper - you get that paper to me on the day it was issued. That's the solution that will keep me as a satisfied customer. Now solve it!Posted on Aug 13, 2016

Cynthia Johnson:

The paper got my dad's death notice completely wrong. The notice had been proofed prior to sending so, the mistake was made at the paper. First it had mt dad from Napier Illinois. That information wasn't even sent to the pioneer press. then they had my mothers photograph with my dad's notice. My mother died 8 years ago. Since when does a male have a female photo. pay attention. Had to return the notice the day of the service.Posted on Aug 02, 2016

Your system is designed so nobody can make a complaint. You can not talk to a live person to get anything done I will lodge a complaint with BBB and who ever else I can think off.never scene a company with so little regard for customers.Posted on Jul 06, 2016

Today I received a bill for Sunday and Thursday delivery. The acct. # assigned is 13174521. I DO NOT subscribe to this paper. I have no wish to receive the Pioneer Press EVER! I have asked repeatedly to not be contacted by this company. How is it that delivery started to begin with? The customer service is horrible and the constant barrage of calls to subscribe is more than annoying. Please delete this acct. immediately. Also, the billing states the office is open from 6 am - 5 pm. I called at 4:10 and the office was closed. Nancy MellinPosted on Jun 24, 2016

This is the second Sunday, This month I haven't gotten a paper. Last week I was told you'd send one out - never arrived. Please have one sent out yet this morning. I find it very frustrating that I can't talk to a real person to file this complaint and request my paper. Please call, 651-894-3300 to confirm the paper is being sent out.Posted on Jun 19, 2016

I received the Bulldogs bargain paper today and it was delivered by a red suv with a child in the back throwing the papers. What concerned me was a child in the back of the car that threw a paper at a dog sitting in the front yard and proceeded to taunt the animal. I was considering a subscription with the pioneer press but after viewing how one of its delivery drivers allowed their child to act is alarming and will be buying a subscription elsewhere.Posted on Apr 19, 2016

On March 21, 2016 I received a solicitation call to receive a subscription to the Pioneer Press Thursday and Sunday paper. I questioned the caller about the availability of getting the Pioneer Press delivered here because we live 8 miles east of Webster, WI. He checked with someone and told me that the Thursday paper was not available but that the Sunday paper was available. I then asked if I would be required to obtain a Pioneer Press mail box. He told me that it would be delivered to my door step and that I wold also have the daily paper available "on line". I agreed to subscribe to the Sunday paper. I gave him my name, address, phone number, email address and a credit card number. He told me that my first paper would be delivered on 3/27/16 and the email addition would be available starting the same day. I did not receive a Sunday paper on 3/27 or on 4/3 and I have not seen any emails regarding the email addition of the daily paper. My credit card was charged $17.80 on 3/21/16 to an account named Peak Trading Corp. Please let me know if I will be getting the Sunday paper or is it Posted on Apr 06, 2016
