I have been trying to get through on the customer service phone line with no luck.I had called on 6/27 requesting a refund for a Hilton Hotel reservation that I have in Pittsburgh 12/10 and 12/11 of this year.When I made the reservation I thought it was made directly through Hilton Hotels and not through a third party. I planned on using my Hilton Honor points which is why I wanted to go directly through them. Since a hard copy of my confirmation or any other form of acknowledgement of my motel reservation has not been provided to me as requested at the time of my order, that my calling the 1-800-700-2619 service line has not been answered and the fact that the comments posted on the website below regarding no service being provided, I will consider that I have been scammed and hereby request that all potential charges be credited to my credit card.. Please cancel my reservation (verbal #14389584382) at the Collinsville, IL Hampton Inn for 5/05/17 and forward the proof of the cancellation. I have notified my credit card company on 8/04/17 at 10:38 pm CST not to pay, and for them to consider the charge as being illegal.. I was advised by a Hampton Inn property on 4/3/2016 at Seattle Tacoma International Airport that my reservation for 4/3/2016 for one night stay at Hampton Inn had been cancelled by a third party reservation system. The property agent informed me that TravelWeb was the third party. I then made a reservation at a different property. However, my bank statement shows a charged at the Hampton Inn at which I did not stay. The Hampton Inn property informed me to contact TravelWeb to try to obtain my missed reservation night charge. I booked a 2 night stay at the Linden Row Inn in Richmond Va for Feb 12-14, 2016 via Living Social Escapes. I received an email confirmation from Living Social Escapes. We checked into the Inn on Feb 12th, only to woken up by the manager of the Inn, banging at our door at 1 AM in the morning, demanding that we vacate the room because someone with our same last name is downstairs in the lobby wanting the same room? The manager accused us of registering under false pretenses. He said our reservation had been cancelled. The next morning we were told that if we didn't vacate the room, the manager would call the police. The cancellation he showed me was by Travel Web/Price line. We didn't even book through them!
